PostHeaderIcon crazy kids and their sportsters!

My buddy brian FINALLY pulled the trigger on buying a harley. Much better than a vulcan drifter.

lets get chopin!!!!!
i love riding across montana. its endless miles of spectacular scenery. Rick james decided to take the faithful job as DD on the 3 hour drive to Billings. The weather was gorgeous unlike the day before when i was on two wheels......Figures. We pulled over at Holden ranch to do some hold'n of our own.

Me and JC tied one on in the back seat with a bottle of goldschlager. i was nicely tuned by the time we made it there and JC was, needlesss to say, a little worse for wear. Nothing like projectile vomiting before a punk show.

NOFX played one of the best shows ive ever seen and we had a blast. Believe it or not, JC was still vomiting 3 hours later. Rick, Being the mother that he is, wouldnt let JC into his car till his belly was empty. So thanks to JC's inability to handle his booze, we were the last ones in the parking lot just in time to see the band come out to kick it.

We met Eric melvin and El Hefe. Me and Melvin took shots of patron til i was blotto.......

All in all a great trip.........Thanks Rick

PostHeaderIcon The Great Mother Nature

So i had been planning to roll down to Bozeman this weekend to hang with some good friends i havn't seen in about a year. Plus Rick James scored me a free ticket to the NOFX concert so that sweetened the pot. The weather has been gorgeous in Missoula and all across Montana all week, but the day i set out for the trip theres a forecast of thunderstorms scattered across the treasure state. I had planned on riding so, ignoring my best judgement, I packed up The Outlaw and hit the road.

Now everyone knows that jumping on a motorcycle "just hoping" things will go ok, doesnt always work out the way you planned. Like i said Before, its part of the fun! So 20 miles out of missoula and the sun comes out, Gorgeous! From Deer Lodge to Butte was windy as fuck, But Bearable. I hit Butte and the wall of black is looming over. How come the only pass i have to go over has like wrath of god weather? Fuck you Butte, Fuck you very much! I rode the pass in the rain only to reach the other side with peanut sized hail. Sweet. Luckily I found an underpass to take shelter under until it passed. One good thing about Montana is that if you dont like the weather you should wait 15 minutes. I dried off just in time to hit pouring rain and gale force winds 20 miles outside of Bozeman. Made it alive and a little soggy but i grabbed a cold beer and threw all  my shit in the dryer. AWESOME TRIP SO FAR! NOFX tonight im stoked!

PostHeaderIcon Fuel

Having ridden the piss out of my sporty chop, "the Cordano", i have run out of gas more than a few times. Last summer i was in wyoming on a little jaunt we took from sturgis and ran out of gas twice. This bike i got has an older sportster tank and holds barely 2 gallons. we had to pull my buddies big twins over and siphon as nuch gas as they could spare into water bottles to hopefully get me to the next gas station. We were in the middle of nowhere and had no clue how far it was. This, of course, is part of the adventure of riding in the first place. So after many fueling mishaps i have found a solution. I have used aluminum and steel water bottles to carry extra gas but the plastic caps seem to always corrode. I found these little fuel canisters that are the same size and design actually meant for carrying fuel. They are meant for campers or backpackers i suppose and can be found at any sort of outdoor enthusiast emporium. They run like 20 bucks and will save your ass if you run out of gas. Easily fit into saddle bags or can be fuckin duct taped to your frame. So i hope this helps some of you out there reading this.

So i picked up this softail about a year back as a solution to long trips with a bunch of baggage. The guy i bought it from was a sort of RUB that had tons of bullshit HD accessories. The engine was in good condition and the mods he had done to the engine made it a great, low mileage, reliable machine. I had to do something about its gaper status in order to feel comfortable actually riding the thing. I put about 3K miles on it last summer rolling around the northwest but it still looked too much like a stock harley to me. So in between bills and procrastination, i stripped everything i could off the beast and pieced it together in my image. No more BS and some sweet new acessories (including some dope bars from the guys at Nash......thanks) the bike actually looks pretty sweet.
Now dont get it twisted, im no builder, nor to i pretend to be. I ride and know how to wrench a bit. I already have a hardtail sporty chop that does just fine and this bike serves a different purpose. This one felt like a roots style Harley customization. So all you chop purists out there can beat it if you dont like it.

PostHeaderIcon BDF Vacation

Peez got in his car and made the long 5 hour trek out here so we could have a little first day of spring celebration. We had no plans for the weekend except, BOOBS, BIKES, and BDF. We accomplished all three and had a blasty. Due to unfortunate situations out of his control, Peez doesn't have his sporty anymore. Beeing the good friend that i am, I let him ride the Cordano almost all weekend. The feeling of a bad hangover, 90 mph, 35 degrees, and a hardtail, is a little less than desirable. Nothing but smiles and laughter all weekend. Hope to do it again soon with hopefully more of you Dirtbaglosergoons out there!

Peezy was getting a stupid, yet amazingly dope tattoo. So as I am not one to turn down the opportunity to get a bad tattoo, I followed suit.
